I started taking film photos and setting up a darkroom after visiting the studio opened in the 1940’s by my mother’s family. I spent a week exploring enlargers, trays, safety lights and various reels that my grandfather built.

Many things I didn’t even know what they were, Through experimenting with classic photographic practices, I discovered a world that is now unfamiliar to many.
